What metrics to collect?

For the purposes of this quick start guide, let's assume the following I&B monitoring requirements:

Business

At the business level, the company’s management requires visibility into the key performance indicators (KPIs), such as:

  • Number of active customers: total and by subscription;

  • Monthly subscriptions revenue: total and by subscription;

  • Monthly payment to data center;

  • New customers per day;

  • Churn rate;

  • Service provisioning errors.

Business Unit

The manager of the Finance & Marketing Business Unit requires visibility into the following areas:

  • Monthly subscriptions revenue: total and by subscription;

  • Customers growth;

  • Monthly payment to data center.

Subunit

Finance
